At the end of August in Minnesota, our garden is bursting with color. That we have this sanctuary in the midst of an urban area never fails to make me grateful. Gardens are full of little miracles. Enjoy today’s slideshow.

I am enjoying the loop of glorious color. A trip to MN Arboretum will have to wait as these photos are spectacular.

Fantastic! My gardens bloom best in late August also.

Thanks! August, September, and October – my favorite time of year. Lush gardens, ripe tomatoes and squash and pumpkins, then leaves that flash all kinds of color before they go out.

Yes, so much beauty to be had! I too am in the Midwest (Illinois) so I can relate. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Very pretty! I love the little dashes of wildlife here and there. Hope you’re taking some vertical shots, too!

Oops! I did not do vertical shots….guess I’ll have to get out there again!

Exquisite. Both the flowers and your images. I wish my flowers looked like yours rather than a tangled mess. I’ve rather neglected my yard due to the swarming mosquitoes.

Thank you, Audrey. The garden is a team effort – Mick and I spend time together on it and it’s been a really nice thing for us. It’s also the place I go when I need a little quiet outside time. I always feel better after working in the garden (unless the mosquitoes are too intense!).
