Photos on the Fly

It’s a busy summer. I’ve been madly proofing poetry and flash fiction for a while, as well as mastering the art of making pretty PDFs for the next issue of Gyroscope Review. But I still go outside and take photos whenever possible.  Here is the emergence of one of the new flowers my husband put in our garden this year. These photos were done on an iPhone instead of my Nikon. When these goofy big-headed flowers are in full bloom, I’ll grab the good camera. Happy summer!

    • Good question. Mick planted that and told me the name, which I forgot to write down, so naturally I’ve forgotten the name. It’s macrocephalus something something. Yeah, I’m not much help. When Mick gets back from his latest conference, I’ll have to ask again!
