First Five Fragments for Friday – Dewy Morning in June

Your weekly offering of writing/art prompts.

I once read that June is the month northern gardeners wait for, the most glorious of months with colorful blossoms and swoon-worthy scents.

That is absolutely correct.

I was not a gardener until I shared a yard with my husband Mick. Our habit of getting our hands in the dirt and growing things together has been a constant in our marriage. Five things I’ve learned from gardening? Patience, observation, tenacity, compromise, and reverence.
Happy Friday.

  2. Those bowls are part of a rain chain and, yes, there are birds that will sit at the edge of a bowl and take a drink of water. It's really pretty during a gentle rain as the water cascades from bowl to bowl.
